The United States Constitution is the supreme law in the United States—it trumps every other state or federal law.  Constitutional law concerns how the US Constitution should be interpreted and implemented.

The Constitution contains Articles and Amendments.  The Articles outline the structure and powers of the federal government.  The Amendments outline the rights of individuals against interference from state and federal governments.
